Description
The Jute-Handle Pitcher Vase is a quiet study in texture and form. The body is finished in a soft, matte cream with a fine, sandy surface that feels like raw stoneware. Its silhouette takes inspiration from traditional water jugs: a broad, tapered base rises to a rounded shoulder, then narrows into a slender neck topped with a small, bulbous lip.
The standout detail is the handle, wrapped by hand in twisted natural jute rope. The golden-brown strands add warmth and a rustic, handcrafted touch, creating a gentle contrast against the pale ceramic. It gives the vase a relaxed, artisan character, like a piece found in a sun-washed Mediterranean farmhouse.
The narrow neck keeps stems upright and neat, making it ideal for a few dried grasses, pampas, wheat stems, cotton branches, or a single bloom such as a daisy or tulip. Left empty, it works beautifully as a sculptural accent on a sideboard, bookshelf, entryway table, bedside table, or dining table. The neutral cream and natural jute palette suits Scandinavian, Japandi, boho, rustic, and modern farmhouse interiors and pairs especially well with light wood, rattan, linen, and warm metallics.
