Description
The Sand Jute-Handle Hourglass Vase is a study in texture and warmth. The body is finished in a soft, matte sand tone with a fine, grainy surface that feels like raw stoneware or sun-dried clay. Subtle variations in color and brushed marks across the surface give it an aged, artisan look, like a piece unearthed from a Mediterranean village.
The silhouette is distinctive and balanced. A wide, flared neck narrows to a slim waist, then swells into a full, tapered body with a crisp angled shoulder near the base. Two slender handles, wrapped by hand in twisted natural jute rope, curve out from the neck. The golden-brown strands add a soft, rustic contrast and give the vase a relaxed, handcrafted character.
The generous opening makes it ideal for dried pampas, wheat stems, cotton branches, eucalyptus, or tall branches, while a few simple blooms such as tulips or daisies look lovely too. Left empty, it works as a sculptural accent on a sideboard, bookshelf, entryway table, mantel, or dining table. The warm sand and natural jute palette suits Japandi, boho, rustic, Scandinavian, and modern farmhouse interiors and pairs especially well with light wood, rattan, linen, and warm metallics.
A thoughtful gift for housewarmings, weddings, and festive occasions, or a calm, natural addition to your own home.
